Delays or Cancellations

At times, school may be closed, delayed, or dismissed early due to inclement weather or other emergency situations. Any changes to our regular schedule are made by the superintendent with a goal of ensuring the safety of our students.

The Earlham School district will notify parents of any cancellations by email, phone, text, and via local television stations.

Phone and Email Notification

The alert system, which draws contact information from PowerSchool student information system, will automatically notify parents by email and phone in the event of a cancellation. To update your contact information please contact the District Office.

Text Message Notification

We will also send text message notifications to parents who opt-in to receiving texts.

Television Notification

We notify major television stations of closures, delays, and early dismissals. Information can be seen on the scrolling bar along the bottom of the screen or via the stations’ websites.
