We are thrilled to share the outstanding results from our Spring 2025 Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) testing! Our students and staff have demonstrated remarkable dedication and growth, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements.
Key Strengths & Highlights
English Language Arts Excellence: Our students achieved outstanding ELA proficiency rates, with every grade level significantly outperforming state averages. Grade 4 students particularly excelled with an impressive 91% proficiency rate compared to the state average of 76%. Grade 8 showed exceptional performance at 90% proficiency versus 80% statewide, and our Grade 10 students achieved 87% proficiency compared to 74% across Iowa.
Mathematics Mastery: Our mathematics results demonstrate remarkable strength across all grade levels, with every single grade substantially exceeding state benchmarks. Standout performances include Grade 4 with 93% proficiency compared to the state's 74%, Grade 3 at 92% proficiency (with an exceptional 38% scoring advanced) versus 76% statewide, and Grade 5 achieving 91% proficiency compared to 71% across Iowa. Our high school students also excelled, with Grade 10 reaching 85% proficiency versus the state's 67%.
Science Achievement: Our science proficiency rates showcase excellent understanding of scientific concepts. Science is assessed in grades 5, 8, and 10, and our students consistently met or exceeded state performance levels.
Consistent Excellence: What makes these results truly remarkable is the consistent pattern of outperforming state averages across virtually every grade level and subject area. Additionally, our trend data shows continued improvement, as we move toward every grade level achieving 80% proficiency in ELA and Math. This reflects the systematic excellence of our educational approach and the dedicated effort of our entire school community.
