Virtual Backpack (PeachJar) Info

The Earlham Community School District receives many requests from community organizations to distribute informational materials to students and parents throughout the year.  We are happy to provide the Virtual Backpack as a medium for distributing educational community activities. 

This “green” approach to distributing information from school sponsored activities and non-profit organizations during the school year will allow parents to find information in one easy online location, save our district and community non-profits money on printing, and be more responsible toward caring for the environment.

In an effort to provide our parents with more valuable school and community resources, the Earlham Community School District began sending flyers to parents digitally on December 1, 2021, through Peachjar. Parents will receive flyers as images in their inbox and can click to immediately take action. Additionally, all approved flyers will be posted to the school’s web flyerboard.


We will no longer be sending paper flyers or notices home in student folders or via the school’s email account.

What this means for community organizations:

  • You have the opportunity to submit your flyer to our district through Peachjar.
  • All flyers must meet our Approval Guidelines to be posted.
  • Register at peachjar.com as a program provider to upload your PDF flyer and select your school(s) for distribution.
  • At checkout, Peachjar will charge no more than $25 per school to submit your flyer for district approval and distribution to families. Discounts can be found at peachjar.com and some organizations may qualify for the Community Free Program
  • Peachjar’s cost is typically less than that of printing and distributing paper flyers, with the added benefit of viewing your flyer’s metrics!
