The Earlham Community School District will offer computer science instruction to K-12 students beginning with the 2022-2023 school year.
The
ECSD Computer Science Plan outlines how the school addresses HF2629, which requires schools to teach the state-approved computer science standards to K-12 students by 2023. A team of ECSD staff participated in SCRIPT training through Heartland AEA during the 21-22 school year to build the plan. Several teachers engaged in Computer Science PD over the summer to prepare for the 22-23 school year.
